Michael Rasmussen

I’ve been a professional artist since 2016, after 39 years in the printing industry.  I originally worked as an Illustrator and paste-up artist, eventually working my way up to management. Those years developed in me an eye for color and layout, which has enhanced my work on the canvas.

I predominantly work in oils and acrylics for the bold color palette these mediums allow, with a realism that leaves enough freedom to develop a mood that helps describe the beauty of the world.
