Lisa Lynch
Painter
I grew up in Colorado and have lived in the Denver Metro area as well as the mountains, where I find my inspiration. My paintings are full of texture and motion using oil paints with a cold wax medium. I cover my canvas with a base layer of vibrant color(s) and paint over it, scraping down to the native color and using unconventional tools like chopsticks and spatulas to carve and scribble into the paint.
You can find my art year round at my home gallery, Denver Gallery of Fine Art in Denver's Santa Fe Arts District. I show at Colorado Art Festivals Spring-Fall and paint all Winter.
I hope you enjoy the color, movement, passion, and fun in my work!
