Scott Howard
aka Scotty Bondo
Painter
After finishing art school, I promptly ran away to the circus.
Whether painting, juggling, performing for a crowd, or drawing a portrait with Sharpies; I suffer from a moderate to severe need for color, movement, texture, and a chronic obligation to express the world as I see it.
My dependency to create manifests itself in color; rich cobalt greens, shades of deep crimson, a slutty neon pink -- I curate my colors with the idea that art can move mountains.
Every painting is a self-portrait; people, animals, performers...I paint each subject with the love and respect I naturally have for all things. My heart floods into my work like a child pouring milk into a bowl.
Please enjoy...or not. Feel free to judge, and to hate or love. I crave your experience as we meet on this wall. Thank you for the fleeting glance, your lingering attention, and your commitment to experience expression.
